Happy New Month, Esteemed ASSP Nigeria Chapter Members!

As we welcome a new month, we are also pleased to reflect on an important milestone—28 days since the current Executive Committee officially assumed office to serve the ASSP Nigeria Chapter.

On behalf of the Executive Committee, I would like to express our sincere appreciation to every one of you for being a valued member of the American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP) and, more specifically, the Nigeria Chapter. Your commitment to the profession is the foundation upon which we will continue to build a stronger, more impactful Chapter.

Over the past four weeks, we have worked tirelessly to lay a solid foundation for a successful chapter year. Our commitment is to serve with integrity, excellence, transparency, and purpose. However, we recognise that achieving our vision is not the responsibility of the Executive Committee alone—it requires the collective effort, expertise, and passion of every member.

To strengthen our operations and increase member engagement, we have officially constituted our Chapter Committees and appointed Committee Chairpersons. We encourage you to actively engage with these committees, contribute your ideas, volunteer your expertise, and collaborate with us as we work towards achieving our shared goals.

At ASSP Nigeria Chapter, our members are our greatest asset. Your voice matters, your experience is valued, and your contributions are essential to our success. Together, we can build a vibrant professional community that influences safer workplaces, stronger organisations, and healthier communities across Nigeria.

We also encourage you to become ambassadors of the Society by promoting ASSP within your professional networks. Invite your colleagues, friends, and organisations to become members and experience the wealth of professional development opportunities, technical resources, networking platforms, and global best practices that ASSP offers.

As we move forward, we remain committed to working alongside you to advance the safety profession, strengthen strategic partnerships, develop future safety leaders, and promote a culture where safety is a shared responsibility from our homes to our workplaces.

Together, let us continue Building a Safer Nigeria Through Strategic Alliances: Protecting Lives from Home to Industry—Safety 1st!

Thank you once again for your trust, support, and dedication. We look forward to serving you and achieving even greater milestones together throughout this Chapter year.

Wishing you a productive, safe, and fulfilling new month!
